The Guidance Service is an internal psychopedagogic counselling and guidance service for all stages at the school. It aims to collaborate with tutors and teachers, as well as to support all families.
One of the many tasks carried out by the Department is the Diversity Care Plan, setting the educational actions and measures that will ensure the best response to the needs and differences of each and every one of our students. Our inclusive environment offers real learning opportunities throughout the everyday educational experiences.
In certain situations, classroom inclusivity will not be enough and we then take specific additional measures. Our approach to diversity configures a whole set of actions that allow students with curriculum adaptations, either newcomers or those receiving support, to achieve the academic and social objectives that are proposed for them and based on their personal situation.
The Psychopedagogic Department supports all the following areas:
- Students and families: the educational skills and needs of students are assessed, and families and students are tracked and guided, coordinated with the different external professionals.
- Classroom: The tutor is briefed and provided with advice regarding possible group dynamics or certain conflict situations.
- Diversity Care Commission: measures that apply to the educational needs of our students are planned and monitored.
